My desire to become a run coach stemmed from my personal training needs. I needed to keep up with my marathon and ultramarathon training while working a mobile job. I needed to figure out how to get my long runs in after being in a car for twelve hours the day before. I needed to create motivation for myself after finally being home from a long road trip. I needed to develop the fire from within and create customized plans for myself, because nobody else was going to do it for me.
